School Law

Our firm has been representing school districts for over 40 years in all school-related legal matters including, but not limited to, collective bargaining, grievances, unfair labor practice allegations, financing and bonds, policies and procedures, personnel matters, special education, student disability, student discipline, construction contracts, risk management and liability, property tax appeal defense, and referenda.  We have represented and currently represent high school districts, elementary school districts, colleges and special education cooperatives, assisting our clients with day-to-day needs such as policy and board governance, as well as financial and other challenges facing schools.

Education law is especially important to us as several of our attorneys have served on school boards themselves, providing first-hand experience and familiarity with the needs of educators and the school system.  We are uniquely aware of the challenges faced by schools and work to help our school districts stay within budget.
